Seahawks make final decision on Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III’s future

After weeks of rumors and speculation, the Seattle Seahawks have made up their mind about running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker comes off his best season in the NFL, both individually and collectively.

The Michigan State product earned Super Bowl MVP honors nearly a month ago when he dominated the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium. Walker played 17 games, carrying the ball 221 times for 1,027 yards and five touchdowns.

Walker helped the Seahawks secure a 29-13 win over the Patriots. While he didn’t score, his 135 yards on 27 carries did a lot of damage against Mike Vrabel’s team.

With Breece Hall out of the market, one of the teams with a strong interest in the Jets star could turn their attention to Kenneth Walker. The Kansas City Chiefs need to improve their running game after a disappointing 2025 season.

ESPN’s Nate Taylor mentioned Walker, Jacksonville Jaguars’ Travis Etienne Jr . and Atlanta Falcons’ Tyler Allgeier as options for Kansas City. Jeremiyah Love also expressed his desire to join the Chiefs, but that option will take more time.

Walker established himself as a force in 2025, and his market should be big.
