Puka Nacua recently finished a career-best season, leading the NFL with129 catches for 1,715 yards and 11 touchdowns. His year ended when the Rams lost 31–27 to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship.
At 24, Nacua is already considered one of the league’s top route runners, but his offseason personal life is drawing just as much attention. He went viral on social media after shooting his shot with actress Sydney Sweeney. Responding to her post about wanting an athletic partner who enjoys skydiving, Nacua simply wrote, “Love skydiving.”
Now, it seems like a new name is rounding on his depth chart.
Puka Nacua Romance Talk Gains Negative Attention
Nacua has been spotted in public twice with fitness influencer Sara Saffari, leading to surreal dating rumors. The pair first appeared in a YouTube video by influencer Nick Nayersina at a Topgolf in Los Angeles. During the video, friends teased them as a “power duo” and noted their chemistry, to which Saffari jokingly called them “delusional”.

The second sighting came on Feb. 28, when a TikTok clip showed Nacua in a black hoodie and sunglasses seemingly holding hands with Saffari as they walked through an airport. Neither has publicly addressed the pairing. Reps for Nacua declined to comment.

The age difference sparked an intense online debate, even though their age-gap is only one year with Saffari is 25 and Nacua is 24. Most of the jokes compared them to Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson. While the 73-year-old coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend have a nearly 50-year age gap, fans drew parallels because, in this case, the woman is the older partner.
“Bill Belichick lite version with sugar mommy flavor,” one fanfired off.
Anotherwrote, “Dangerous age gap tbh.”
The thirdnoted, “He’s only 24, you s—– f—.”
A fourth fanclaimed, “She kinda mid. No wonder he was looking at Sydney Sweeney.”
The fifth fanadded, “1 year?? That’s practically a newborn. Arrest this man immediately.”
Nacua and Saffari have not commented on the rumors. The Rams receiver is expected to sign a contract extension this offseason. Estimates put the deal at more than $35 million a year, which would top Justin Jefferson’s current average and could make Nacua the highest-paid receiver in NFL history.
