“Krafty Bob Strikes Again”: Patriots Fans Roast Robert Kraft for 7% Ticket Price Hike After…

The New England Patriots managed to make it to the Super Bowl championship last season, but lost to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13. The franchise, owned by Robert Kraft, is often considered one of the most successful ones in the NFL’s history.

They have won a record six Super Bowl titles, and had Tom Brady and Bill Belichick leading them for many years. Last season’s Super Bowl game was their first appearance since these two Patriots legends left the franchise. Kraft is now facing backlash for one of his decisions.

Robert Kraft’s New England Patriots raises ticket prices

The Patriots recently announced a major price adjustment for season tickets ahead of the 2026 NFL season. It will impact the majority of seats at the Gillette Stadium. According to Andrew Callahan, most of the seats’ ticket prices will rise less than 10%, while 15% of seats, primarily in the premium areas, will be increased by more than 10%. The average rise in ticket prices is estimated to be around 7%.

The steepest increases in price will be targeted at the first seven rows in the midfield sections of the 300 level, as they have the most values among all the seats. Entry-level pricing will remain unchanged, while the lowest average ticket price for home games will start at $89 per game.

This is the second time the Patriots will increase season ticket prices in the last four years. They previously did such an increase in 2008, which makes the recent ticket price increase their third-such in the last two decades. The franchise currently rank eighth in the NFL for average season-ticket pricing. Season ticket holders will soon be invoiced for renewal, with a deadline of March 31.

The franchise will still continue to provide free parking in stadium-owned general lots and will offer a $50 incentive for fans that select delayed-release parking options on game days. Many Patriots fans were not happy with the ticket price increase, and attacked Kraft for it.
