Salah had a very public falling out with Reds boss Arne Slot earlier this season, just before heading to the African Cup of Nations with Egypt.
Speaking in December, he said: "It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame."
According to reports it is increasingly likely that Salah will move on this summer, with Liverpool able to demand a fee from any Saudi Pro League club who comes in for him, given that contract extension last summer.

But who will Liverpool replace him with, should Salah end up leaving the club?
There was interest from the Reds last summer in Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, but there will be huge competition from around the Premier League and beyond for the teenager's signature.
Diomande has 10 goals and seven assists in 26 games for the Bundesliga outfit this season and is reportedly valued at around £87million, although that price tag could decrease if Leipzig fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League at the end of the season.
Liverpool are also being linked with a move for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise. According to reports, the reds have made enquiries over his potential transfer status this summer, with further suggestions that there have even been talks with his representatives.
Olise has been a revelation in Germany since signing from Crystal Palace in 2024.
The Frenchamn has racked up a staggering 33 goals and 48 assists in 91 appearances for the German champions and would arrive at Anfield with plenty of Premier League experience under his belt, courtesy of that time at Selhurst Park.
