Jeremie Frimpong has been recalled to the Liverpool starting line-up for the Premier League clash at Wolves this evening.

Frimpong, who returned to action as a substitute against West Ham United at the weekend, makes his first start since limping out of the Champions League win over Qarabag on January 28 with a groin problem.

The Holland international replaces Joe Gomez in the only change made by Reds boss Arne Slot from the team that beat the Hammers 5-2 at Anfield.

Alisson Becker remains in goal, while Ibrahima Konate partners captain Virgil van Dijk at centre-back and Milos Kerkez is the left-back.

In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister are the double pivot with Dominik Szoboszlai the number 10.

And up front, Hugo Ekitike once again leads the line with Mohamed Salah on the right wing and Cody Gakpo patrolling the left flank.

Teenager Kieran Morrison is back among the substitutes having scored twice for the under-21s at the weekend.

Tonight's game is the first of a double-header between the teams this week, with Liverpool visiting Molineux on Friday for an FA Cup fifth round showdown.

LIVERPOOL (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Ekitike.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Chiesa, Jones, Robertson, Nyoni, Ramsay, Morrison, Ngumoha.
