Jackson is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but the German giants are not expected to sign him permanently.

Jackson remaining at Chelsea would present Liam Rosenior with a bit of a dilemma. The Chelsea head coach already has Joao Pedro and Liam Delap in his squad and is set to welcome the arrival of Emanuel Emegha in the summer.
There is also Marc Guiu, but he will be expected to go out on loan after making just one start in the Premier League this season.
Rosenior will not be able to guarantee regular playing time to all of those players. Delap is attracting interest from other Premier League clubs, so he could be a candidate to leave should Jackson be reintegrated into the first-team squad.

Nicolas Jackson can be an asset to Liam Rosenior
Chelsea should not be too quick to grant Jackson’s request to leave the club if he asks to depart again. The Senegal international can bring a lot to this Chelsea team, as he has in the past.
His best-ever season at Stamford Bridge saw him score 14 goals in the Premier League and 17 in all competitions. This term, Delap has only netted twice. At this rate, it would be a surprise if he finished the campaign with more than six goals.
Jackson’s link-up play is also very efficient. Cole Palmer used to play off him so well, while the former Villarreal man was always able to roll centre-halves before playing a dangerous ball into the England international or another Chelsea attacker.
Jackson can be a serious asset to Rosenior next season; Chelsea should keep hold of him.
