Jeremy Lin, the first Asian-American NBA champion with the Toronto Raptors, says his most meaningful career victories were winning two championships in Taiwan alongside his brother.
In 2019, Jeremy Lin became the first Asian-American player to win an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors. But for him, that wasn't the biggest win of his life.

For family reasons, his championships in Taiwan hold a deeper meaning.
"I think what I'm most proud of, I would say maybe the on-court is winning two championships in Taiwan with my little brother, just because you never would have thought that would happen. It hits different," Lin said on the Above the Rim podcast.
"Obviously, when I won with the Raptors in 2019, I wasn't a part of being on the court, like I was just DNPing every night. It was still amazing, but then to do it with the dude that you literally seen from day one, grew up with, spent my whole life with, and then having my parents out there celebrating, that was... [incredible]."
Lin became an international sensation during the 2011-12 season with the New York Knicks, sparking the global phenomenon known as "Linsanity." His unexpected rise included a career-high 38 points against the Lakers.
Undrafted in 2010, Lin's journey included stints in the G League before finally breaking through. He became the first American of Chinese or Taiwanese descent to play in the NBA, inspiring millions along the way.
Lin officially retired last summer at 37, capping a 15-year career that concluded in China and Taiwan.
