Maxx Crosby teases next NFL team as Raiders explore trade options

The 2026 NFL season will see many of the game’s biggest stars on new teams, and everyone is wondering where All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby will land if the Las Vegas Raiders move on from him.

For the first seven years of his NFL career, Crosby has been an elite defensive star with the Raiders. However, the team’s lack of success has opened the door for the 28 year old to explore trade options.

During a recent podcast appearance, Maxx Crosby shocked NFL fans regarding his next team. The Raiders standout didn’t reveal a specific team, but he did state that he’s met with his “new” head coach.

The Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are several teams linked to Crosby.

This comes after Crosby finished last season with double-digit sacks for the fourth time in his NFL career. Meanwhile, the Raiders star also recorded his most tackles for loss (28) since first debuting back in 2019.

The former Eastern Michigan fourth-round pick would be a massive upgrade for just about any NFL team. Crosby is a five-time Pro Bowler and has earned second-team All-Pro honors twice.

As the 2026 NFL Draft draws closer, more teams will surely be reaching out to Las Vegas to attempt to lure the veteran pass rusher away from the Raiders. Vegas is linked to Indiana star quarterback Fernando Mendoza with its number one overall pick.

Perhaps Las Vegas will acquire more valuable draft picks, which could help the Raiders massively with their needs on both sides of the football. Crosby will fetch a relatively high draft pick from a contending team looking to bring in the star.
