Strus (foot) has progressed well in his recovery and will continue his workout with the Cavs. No timetable of return yet.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced that Max Strus has progressed toward individual on-court activities, as recent imaging has shown progressive healing in his surgically repaired left foot.
Cleveland Cavaliers / Schedule
As part of his healing progress, Strust will go after controlled team activities and practice sessions with both the Cavs and the team's G League affiliate, the Cleveland Chargers.
While he remains out without a timetable, he will continue his rehabilitation and recovery process.
Strus hasn't played this 2025-26 NBA season yet. The veteran notably underwent a medical procedure to fix his foot.
He averaged 9.4 points, 4.3 boards and 3.2 assists last season for the Cavs across 50 games played.
As Cleveland is aiming to go deep for a potential title run following the James Harden trade last month, the franchise can only hope for the best around Strus' recovery and return before the regular season concludes.
