Liverpool suffered a demoralising and costly defeat away at bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Tuesday night, with the decisive blow coming in stoppage time.
The Reds had fallen behind with 12 minutes remaining, but looked set to salvage something after Mohamed Salah levelled the score with seven minutes of regular time left. However, having already surrendered points late on multiple times this season, they succumbed to a deflected 94th-minute winner from Andre, ultimately losing 2-1 at Molineux.
Chasing a fourth consecutive top-flight victory, Liverpool had the chance to draw level with Manchester United and Aston Villa on 51 points. Instead, they delivered a lacklustre and one-paced attacking display until they found themselves trailing. Daily Star Sport evaluates the performances of Arne Slot's side...

Alisson, 5 - The goalkeeper had virtually nothing to do until Gomes broke the deadlock. He handled Yerson Mosquera's late effort well but made a dreadful clearance just before Wolves scored the winner. Alisson was powerless to stop the deflected shot from sailing over him, reports the Express.
Jeremie Frimpong, 6 - Frimpong made his first league start since January 24. He drilled one shot well over in the first half but otherwise failed to cause significant problems for the Wolves defence. He whipped in one menacing cross, which Jose Sa expertly claimed. Here's a revised version of the article:.
Ibrahima Konate, 5 - A solid defensive display marred by a lapse in concentration that allowed Gomes to score late on. Although he saw too much of the ball, given Liverpool's need to push forward, he did complete most of his passes.

Virgil van Dijk, 5 - An outstanding long pass to Mohamed Salah early on, followed by some tidy defending to snuff out Wolves' counter-attacks. However, he was caught off guard by Tolu Arokodare, who easily shrugged him off to score, and should have headed in a late chance from Ngumoha's cross.
Milos Kerkez, 6 - Initially struggled to cope with Matheus Mane's probing runs, but soon found his footing and wasn't troubled again. Although he provided an outlet on the flank, his deliveries needed more precision. A glaring miss from two yards out after Jones' initial effort was a notable low point.
Ryan Gravenberch, 5 - A booking for persistent fouling summed up his underwhelming display. Struggled to impose himself on the game and was substituted at the interval.
Alexis Mac Allister, 6 - A more promising showing from the Argentine, who won the ball back on several occasions and posed a threat in advanced positions. However, he could have been more forceful at times.
Dominik Szoboszlai, 5 - Attempted a long-range shot but was otherwise unremarkable in the first half. Dropped deeper in the second half after Gravenberch's departure and delivered several key passes, but it was far from his best performance this season. Made a crucial recovery to halt a Wolves counter-attack but lost possession before the decisive goal.
Mohamed Salah, 4 - The fact that he netted his first Premier League goal since November yet still receives such a poor rating says it all. Hardly did anything right. Made an impressive run in the first half which Virgil van Dijk spotted but his touch let him down. Lost the ball too often with sloppy touches and passes. Finished his goal well but immediately wasted an easy pass to Dominik Szoboszlai who could have put Liverpool 2-1 up.
Hugo Ekitike, 5 - Aside from one thrilling run in the first half, he was invisible before the interval and had fewer touches than Alisson. In the second half, he should have claimed an assist from his flick-on at a corner then made another superb run where he outpaced Mosquera but his cross was blocked by Ladislav Krejci. Was brought down by Santiago Bueno when he looked set for another late run.
Cody Gakpo, 4 - Despite taking four shots, he offered too little, none of which troubled the goalkeeper. Only one was on target and went straight to Jose Sa. Seemed keen to make something happen but the end product simply wasn't up to scratch. Marked down for blocking Jones from scoring.
Curtis Jones (Gravenberch 46), 6 - Somehow failed to find the back of the net from right under the crossbar at a corner after Gakpo's involvement, but at least he quickened Liverpool's tempo.
Rio Ngumoha (Gakpo 65), 7 - Introduced to bring some directness to Liverpool's attack, he was denied a goal by a top-notch save from Sa and also had a possible assist when Van Dijk's header was saved by the keeper.
Andy Robertson (Kerkez 65), 6 - Had a decent outing.
Joe Gomez (Frimpong 72), 6 - Looked solid, but had some bad luck when Andre's shot deflected off him and sailed over Alisson, leading to Wolves' winning goal.
