Liverpool suffered another disappointing defeat in the Premier League this season as they lost to bottom-placed Wolves at Molineux on Tuesday night. Arne Slot's men conceded an injury-time winner to potentially lose grip on the Champions League places.
Mohamed Salah cancelled out Rodrigo Gomes' opener within minutes for the Reds after the dull opening 65 minutes. But despite having the momentum, Liverpool conceded in the fourth minute of added time when Andre's strike deflected off Joe Gomez to beat Alisson.
The defeat leaves the holding champions in fifth, three points behind Aston Villa and Manchester United. Victory for Chelsea against Villa on Wednesday will see Liam Rosenior's men overtake them in the potential final Champions League qualification spot.

Tonight's surprise defeat at Wolves ends a run of four straight wins for Liverpool. This weekend's FA Cup return to Molineux gives them a break from league action but a tough double-header against Galatasaray awaits.
