Jalen Green speaks on how he will bounce back from his recent shooting struggles

The Phoenix Suns have been struggling with injuries recently, which has led them to struggle on offense. This includes Jalen Green, who has shot 28% over the past four games. Those are disappointing shooting splits for Green, considering he is often seen as a top scorer.

Despite the struggles, Green has made sure that he wants to keep shooting. That is the mindset required from a high-level scorer, and it seems he will continue to have a strong mentality, so he can help the Suns compete at the highest level.

Green is ready to bounce back from his recent struggles

Most of the time, the Suns rely on Devin Booker to carry them to victory. That was the case early in the season when Green was dealing with a hamstring injury. Now, Booker has solid teammates to work with, especially Green.

The other is Dillon Brooks, who has broken out this season, but he is also nursing an injury. Moving forward, the Suns would want to have them all active, but they also need them to play better because some are quite inefficient.

Green is not only shooting 28% from the field, but he is also struggling with the three-point shot. During that same four-game stretch, he is shooting 5-for-33 on three-pointers, which is a putrid 15.2%.

If the Suns want to win games, they need to get the best out of Green. He was excellent for the Houston Rockets before, and as long as he can get accustomed to his new role in Phoenix, he can become one of the best players on the team.

"Just got to get back to the basics. Double down on the work. I think these past couple of days have been good for me for that. Really trusting everything... You get to dictate the flow of the game (as a starter). You always want to come out in those first parts," Green said to The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin.

Of course, Green's play style is also part of the discussion. He is one of the league's most athletic players, so sticking with him being a slasher to build his rhythm could be the key to him getting back to his best with his efficiency as a scorer.
