NFL legend Tom Brady isn’t holding back when it comes to his opinion of WWE star Logan Paul and his toughness as an athlete.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion may no longer be active on the football field, but continues to call NFL games, offer his analysis on Fox shows, and is a minority owner for the Las Vegas Raiders. However, he’s also going to participate in an upcoming football event in Saudi Arabia.
Paul, a social media influencer and active member of the WWE roster, will also participate in Brady’s event, which features NFL stars and other athletes.
During Super Bowl week, Brady was one of several athletes to stop by Paul's podcast, and during their chat, he called wrestling "cute" but suggested the WWE star wasn't capable of the toughness needed for football. Paul fired back that he played football previously in school, but Brady continued trash-talking him in a playful way.
More recently, he resumed that savagery and flat-out blasted Paul after his former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, was praising the social media influencer for his combat sports and entertainment skills.
“Logan Paul is a b***h. Just say he’s a b***h,” Brady said during a training video clip, adding, “Come play with the big boys. You’re lucky you won’t get hit.”
Brady, Gronk, and Paul will all be on the field in Saudi Arabia for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic later this month. The trash-talking is a strong promotional element ahead of the event, which, ironically, doesn’t include any tackling or potential roughing-the-passer penalties.
Meanwhile, rumors persist regarding Paul and who he might face at WWE’s WrestleMania 42. Some speculation focused on the return of Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, Bad Bunny, returning to the ring to clash with Paul in a match, but there’s no confirmation of this.
The big WWE extravaganza occurs next month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul has seen a quick rise to superstardom thanks to his ability to quickly adopt in-ring skills, drawing praise from fans and wrestling peers.
Fans can see Paul and Brady on the football field in Saudi Arabia on March 21 with a presentation on FOX Sports and Tubi. Others involved in the special flag football game include Saquon Barkley, CeeDee Lamb, Christian McCaffrey, Sauce Gardner, Myles Garrett, Brock Bowers, and Maxx Crosby.
