Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard was critical of three of Arne Slot's players after their defeat to Wolves, while he's also urged the Dutch manager to start Rio Ngumoha.
Liverpool went behind after 78 minutes at Molineux as Rodrigo Gomes raced through on goal before poking the ball over Alisson Becker and into the back of the net.
Just moments later, Mohamed Salah equalised for the Reds with a clever finish, but in the final seconds of the game, Wolves managed to find a winner.
Andre's deflected effort from range evaded Alisson, and the Wolves supporters erupted as they secured just their third win of the season in the Premier League.
Understandably, boyhood Liverpool fan Gerrard wasn't happy with their performance as he provided his insight after the game, and he was quick to criticise three of their stars.
Gerrard Calls Out Liverpool Trio

Firstly, Gerrard suggested that Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo isn't doing enough, urging Slot to start Rio Ngumoha instead. The former Liverpool midfielder claimed that Rio is doing more in his cameo performances than Gakpo does across 60 minutes.
There were some suggestions that Virgil van Dijk was fouled for Wolves' opening goal, but Gerrard was quick to shut that down. Gerrard claimed that Van Dijk has to be stronger, before also suggesting that Ibrahima Konate should have helped prevent the goal, covering behind before Rodrigo Gomes found the back of the net.

Arne Slot Needs to Make Changes at Liverpool
Liverpool manager Arne Slot celebrates
After losing to 20th-placed Wolves while Liverpool are fighting to finish in the Champions League places, Slot has to be under pressure to keep his job at Anfield.
If the Dutch coach wants to remain in charge, he's going to have to make some changes, and Gerrard is right in the fact that Gakpo isn't doing enough at the moment.
Rio has shown promising glimpses when given rare opportunities, and it could be time for Slot to take some risks if he wants to keep his job.
There's still every chance that Liverpool qualify for the Champions League, but they'll have to avoid slipping up again like they did against Wolves.
