Dwight McNeil has made it back-to-back starts in the Premier League for Everton on the back of his failed transfer in the winter window.
The 26-year-old midfielder has now issued a message to Everton supporters following Tuesday’s much-needed three points
David Moyes finally saw Everton’s dreadful record at the Hill Dickinson Stadium come to an end, with McNeil playing another key role in the win for the Blues.
Late on in the game, McNeil left the pitch to a standing ovation from the supporters on the Liverpool docks.

Moyes urged McNeil to get on with things recently on the back of the failed transfer to Crystal Palace just over a month ago.
The midfielder has certainly done that this week having shone against both Newcastle United and Burnley.

“What a night! It was an important one at home to get three points. We build now and we keep going,” said McNeil on Everton’s X account.
“I just want to thank you all for the reception I got coming off the pitch. It means a lot. But we keep going, on to the next game.”
McNeil certainly did impress with another key involvement in the goal which saw Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall seal the points.
Everton News columnist Alan Myers expects McNeil to leave in the summer following his failed winter move.
However, the 26-year-old is very quickly playing his way back into Moyes’ thinking on Merseyside.
