Where to watch every FA Cup match this weekend with Wrexham v Chelsea and Newcastle v Manchester City among the fifth round ties.
The FA Cup returns this weekend, with the last 16 sides left in the competition battling it out for a place in the quarter-finals – and every single game will be available to watch live on TV.
With five EFL sides left in the draw, there’s plenty of chances for upsets: Could Mansfield Town really beat Premier League leaders Arsenal? Will nouveau riche Wrexham have what it takes to stun a wobbling Chelsea side? Friday 6 March - Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool (20:00 GMT): Just days after Rob Edwards’ relegation-bound Wolves shocked the Premier League champions at the Molineux, they get the chance to repeat the trick – the sequel to Tuesday’s match kicks the FA Cup fifth round off on Friday night, with live coverage on BBC One, TNT Sports 1 and discovery+ at the same time.
Saturday 7 March – Mansfield Town v Arsenal (12:15): League One Mansfield will be aiming to pull of something quite special during Saturday’s lunchtime fixture – while Arsenal will hope to continue their push towards their first trophy in six years. This one’s only available on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+.
Wrexham v Chelsea (17:15): A match-up that’s likely to draw significant media attention. Social climbers Wrexham are battling for a play-off place in the Championship while Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea have hit a rough patch of form, so there’s every possibility of a surprise result at the Racecourse Ground. This one’s on BBC One, TNT Sports 2 and discovery+ - and is the last game of the weekend available to watch on terrestrial TV.
Newcastle United v Manchester City (20:00): If you’d rather watch two heavyweights duking it out, this is the fifth round’s headline act. Newcastle’s league positions means that they may need to win the FA Cup to make it into Europe, but Pep Guardiola’s relentless winning machine stand in the way. Sunday 8 March - Fulham v Southampton (12:00): Fulham can take a big step towards their first ever major trophy if they can beat second-tier Southampton at Craven Cottage on Sunday lunchtime. Fans can catch it on TNT Sports 2 and discovery+.
Port Vale v Sunderland (13:30): Port Vale, currently rock bottom of League One, are the lowest-ranked side left in the competition after beating Bristol City in extra time in the fourth round, and get the chance to spring an even bigger surprise when they welcome Régis Le Bris’ impressive Sunderland side to Vale Park. That’s on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+.
Leeds United v Norwich City (16:30): A Daniel Farke Derby takes place on Sunday, with the German manager’s current charges facing off against his former team. The Canaries have pulled clear of the Championship relegation battle after finding form in recent weeks, so could be candidate to pull of an upset at Elland Road. Monday 9 March – West Ham United v Brentford (19:30): An all-Premier League clash closes the fifth round on Monday evening. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been struggling for goals despite improved performances, while Brentford’s recent form has been wildly unpredictable. An entertaining evening could be in prospect, and it’s available to view on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+.
