The Everton midfielder has now taken his total goal involvements to 11 for the season, and that should see him in contention for an England call-up later this month.
Speaking after the game, Dewsbury-Hall had a message for Thomas Tuchel.
“Getting into the England squad is a dream of mine,” the 27-year-old stated.
“I know the competition is stacked, but I am having a really good season – it is probably the best season I have ever had in the Premier League.
“My main focus is getting into Europe with this team. If we do that, it gives me a better chance internationally.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall says Hill Dickinson Stadium is made for European nights
Dewsbury-Hall reiterated his desire to qualify for Europe this season and noted that the Hill Dickinson Stadium is made for it.
“I thought tonight we were really good – more like what we want to be at home: dominant and limiting our opponents to not many chances,” the Toffees star explained.
“It is a great reaction in the last four or five days to get back-to-back wins after two losses. It shows great character from the lads and puts us in a great position ahead of the run-in.
“Look at the stadium, it is built for European nights. It is a massive club and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to come: to get the Club back into the European places.
