Per The Athletic, Aaron Gordon, who re-aggravated his right hamstring injury on Jan. 23, is targeting a return in Friday's home game against the New York Knicks.
It remains to be seen if he'll get the necessary clearance from the Nuggets, who are being understandably cautious here in light of the setback he suffered six weeks ago.
Gordon has been sidelined since late January after pulling up on a routine rebound against the Milwaukee Bucks. That moment came in just his 10th game back from a previous hamstring issue.
Earlier in the season, the athletic forward had already missed 19 games with the same injury.

The timing is important for Denver. The Nuggets hold a 38-24 record and sit fifth in the Western Conference standings. They have dropped 11 of their last 20 games, struggling to find rhythm on both ends of the floor.
This season, Gordon has appeared in 23 games, averaging 17.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
