Vikings, Steelers and Packers get trade price for Colts' Anthony Richardson

The Indianapolis Colts have made Anthony Richardson available via trade and three teams that could have interest in him are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.

Richardson has been a total bust in Indianapolis and is now expendable with the Colts moving forward with Daniel Jones as the starter and Riley Leonard as the backup.

With Richardson's stock in the toilet, he shouldn't cost much in a trade — and a new report from Jason La Canfora of SportsBoom gives the aforementioned teams a good idea about how much he'll cost.

La Canfora reveals that a general manager he has spoken to thinks the Colts might be able to get a fifth-round pick for Richardson.

"When pressed on what he would be willing to give up if he believed he had more time to develop Richardson, the GM said he thought maybe the Colts could get a fifth-round pick for him," La Canfora said.

Another personnel executive La Canfora spoke with even suggested Richardson could cost as little as a sixth-round pick.

At that price, bringing in a 23-year-old quarterback with an electric skill set would be worth a swing for teams like the Steelers, Packers and Vikings.

The Steelers could add Richardson to sit behind whichever veteran starts in 2026 in the hopes he could develop into a long-term solution, something the team doesn't currently have on its roster, as Will Howard remains unproven.

The Packers are set to lose Malik Willis in free agency and need a backup behind Jordan Love. We saw head coach Matt LaFleur work wonders with Willis and Richardson could be his next reclamation project.

When it comes to the Vikings, head coach Kevin O'Connell has had similar success as LaFleur when it comes to reviving a down-and-out quarterback, and Minnesota needs to add at least one insurance policy behind J.J. McCarthy.
