Green Bay Packers: impending NFL free agent deletes everything regarding team from his social…

The Green Bay Packers have 17 impending NFL free agents heading into the new league year. On March 11, these players will be able to explore other opportunities with other NFL franchises. Some of them may be retained by Green Bay, but the majority of them will probably find new homes in free agency.

Additionally, the Packers may add more players to the free agent market by making salary cap cuts, as they are expected to do with Rashan Gary and Elgton Jenkins.

One of the Packers players that is set to hit free agency is 2022 first round pick Quay Walker. And based on his recent social media activity, it is fair to assume that he is one of the players that will not be coming back.

Green Bay previously declined to pick up Walker’s fifth-year option, which would have kept him with the Packers for the 2026 NFL season. However, they chose not to in the hopes that they would be able to agree to a long-term contract extension with him.

Obviously, that has not happened. Now, Walker has removed all references to the Packers from his Instagram account:

After a controversial start to his NFL career, Walker matured into one the team’s most respected leaders in the locker room. Fans may recall that in 2022, his first year with the Packers, Walker was ejected from games twice for making contact with opposing teams’ coaches/athletic trainers.

Last year, though, his teammates voted him one of Green Bay’s captains.

In four NFL seasons, Walker has amassed 469 tackles, and has never had fewer than 102 in any given season.

That being said, he struggles in pass coverage and sometimes misdiagnosis plays at the line of scrimmage.
