A.J. Brown trade rumors reveal price Patriots, Raiders and Bills have to pay for star WR

Rumors continue to circulate about a potential A.J. Brown trade, and the latest is not good news for potential suitors such as the Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Eagles are looking for a "Quinnen Williams-esque" package for Brown, which is a high price for a 29-year-old wide receiver.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini echoes Garafolo's report.

While she doesn't say specifically what the Eagles are looking for, Russini does note the Eagles have a "high price" for Brown.

"League sources say the Eagles have set a high price for the three-time Pro Bowler, and Howie Roseman has remained firm, even dating back to last season: To get Brown, it will take a big package. Teams remain interested," Russini reported.

In case you don't remember, the Dallas Cowboys traded a first-round pick, a second-round pick and defensive tackle Mazi Smith for Williams in 2025.

If general manager Howie Roseman doesn't drop Brown's price significantly, we don't see the Raiders, Bills or Patriots (or any suitor, for that matter) pulling off a trade for him.

Why Patriots, Bills, Raiders could trade for Brown

If the Eagles do ask for a more realistic price for Brown, we could see him landing with any of these three teams.

The Patriots need more help at wide receiver, and that's without mentioning the possibility the team cuts Stefon Diggs this offseason.

The Raiders have the worst wide receiver situation of the three teams, as their room is led by Tre Tucker, who is a No. 3 receiver, and two unproven wideouts in Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton.

That is a nightmare situation for a team set to draft Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick.

Buffalo isn't in a great spot at wide receiver, either. Khalil Shakir is the only reliable target Josh Allen has, but he's a No. 2, at best. The Bills are dealing with the consequences of striking out on Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer.
