Angel Reese was emotional watching special NBA player courtside

WNBA star Angel Reese had plenty of reasons to celebrate on Tuesday. After a return to Unrivaled’s Rose BC, Reese’s tenure in the 3-on-3 league came to an end at the end of February.

At the same time, his brother Julian (also known as JuJu) signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards. He made his debut on Monday, when the Wizards lost 123-118 to the Houston Rockets. On Tuesday, they played the second game of a back-to-back.

Washington played the Orlando Magic on Tuesday, with Angel Reese in attendance. She wore her brother’s jersey to the game. At one point, cameras caught her wiping tears away.

The Magic won, 126-109, to improve to 32-28, whereas the Wizards dropped to 16-45. Julian Reese played 33 minutes, scoring nine points, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out three assists. The Wizards are a rebuilding team, which should give him time to develop and establish himself in the league. For now, he will spend time in the G League and the association.
