Leeds United will be travelling to the east coast of the United States for their 2026 summer pre-season tour, marking their first trip across the pond for 29 years.
Three friendlies have been scheduled in three different states across a nine-day span. First, the Whites take on Championship play-off chasing Wrexham on July 25 at the Raymond James Stadium, the 65,000-seater home of NFL franchise the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa, Florida.
Leeds then take on last night’s opponents Sunderland at the 25,000-capacity Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey, where the New York Red Bulls host their home matches, on July 30.

The trip is then rounded off with a friendly against Liverpool at the Soldier Field stadium - which holds 61,500 spectators - in Chicago on August 2. Kick-off times have yet to be confirmed.
Leeds’ training camps will be based in New Jersey and New York and fans activities are due to be staged at various points throughout the tour. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday (March 10) from 4pm.
Leeds United chief business officer Morrie Eisenberg said: "We are delighted to have been invited to visit the US this pre-season, with the opportunity to play three great matches at three fantastic venues.
“This is a great chance to grow our global presence, work with our commercial partners and most importantly provide the first team squad with outstanding training facilities to prepare for the new season.
“I hope supporters are as excited at the prospect of playing in the US for the first time in nearly 30 years as we are, and we can’t wait to see our famous following on the other side of the pond.”
Leeds travel out to the States the week after the World Cup final, which is due to be hosted at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Should Leeds remain in the Premier League, they will start their season on August 22, so 20 days after their final friendly in the US.
If it is the Championship that Leeds compete in next season then their campaign will begin a fortnight after the meeting with Liverpool, from the weekend of August 15.
It is yet to be confirmed whether a summer friendly will be held at Elland Road. Last year saw the visit of Villarreal with Valencia coming to town in the summer of 2024.
