“Bro’s Already Packing Bags”: Raiders Fans Blast Maxx Crosby for Fueling Trade Rumors Instead…

Maxx Crosby is currently one of the top defensive ends in the NFL. Playing for the Las Vegas Raiders, he is considered by many as one of the best defensive players to have. Though he was great last season, the Raiders ended up last in the AFC West division with a disappointing 3-14 record in the regular season.

A lot of franchises are trying to trade for the player, and he has now directly spoken on the topic himself.

Maxx Crosby fuels trade rumors

Crosby performed very well in the 2025 NFL season, even though his franchise did not. In the 15 games he played last season, he had 73 combined tackles, 10 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 6 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, and even had 1 interception for 19 yards. All of this got him a fifth Pro Bowl appearance.

Recently, rumors have surged about interest from other teams in the player looking to trade for him. Teams like the Dallas Cowboys, the Chicago Bears, the Philadelphia Eagles, among others want to trade for the player this offseason. The Raiders do not want to do so, and are demanding two first-round picks plus a starter to let Crosby leave.

Crosby recently did an interview with Sara Saffari on the Swift Sports Network podcast. Crosby was asked whether he will stay at the Raiders. He answered subtly and did not dismiss the rumors, “I’ve talked about this too much. I’m going to just leave it at that.” He was then asked whether he had met his new coach, and he answered, “I have. Seems like a great guy.”

While it could mean that he met the Raiders new head coach Klint Kubiak who arrived from the Seattle Seahawks, many fans believe that he could also mean meeting another franchise’s head coach as well. Fans did not like this evasive answer and attacked Crosby for it.

Maxx Crosby faces backlash from Raiders fans

Many Raiders fans thought that Crosby could have answered the question directly to shut down the trade rumors, and slammed him for being subtle about it.

One user said, “Get this dude off my team”.

A second user wrote, “In all seriousness, all he needs to say is “I want to retire a Raider and I have no desire to be traded.” That would shut down all the rumors. But he’s choosing not to. That’s why I’m 100% convinced he’s being moved this offseason.”

A third user replied, “Bro’s Already Packing Bags”.

Another added, “Dude is a total douche man It just emanates from him”.

A fifth user remarked, “gossip ass professional football players these days… i miss when u wouldn’t even hear an nfl player speak unless it was an on the field interview”.

A sixth commented, “Smh How far have we fallen”.

It remains to be seen where Maxx Crosby ends up before the start of the 2026 NFL season.
