Anthony Davis will reunite with some of his former Dallas Mavericks teammates on his new show “Foul Play,” set to premiere on TBS on April 6 following the NCAA Tournament national championship game.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see what’s coming in this first full season,” Davis said in a release. “We’ve got a great group of athletes and special guests, and the pranks go even further — I can’t wait for people at home to laugh along with us.”
Made by some the executive producers behind “Impractical Jokers,” the series will show Davis enlisting popular athletes like LeBron James, Jordan Chiles and Ron Woodson in elaborate pranks and schemes on other unsuspecting athletes.
The Mavericks who are set to appear are Cooper Flagg and Dereck Lively, who both played with Davis before the 10-time All-Star’s trade to the Washington Wizards shortly before the NBA trade deadline in February.
Davis has yet to make his debut with the Wizards, as the forward will miss the remainder of the season due to hand and groin injuries.
