Inter Milan president Giuseppe Marotta has addressed reports suggesting Arsenal are keen on signing Pio Esposito.
The 20-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a summer move to the Emirates in recent weeks.
Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier this week that Arsenal had made contact with Inter to explore a possible deal.
However, Marotta has now denied those claims:
“Arsenal did not ask for Pio Esposito despite reports,” he said.

“We are not planning to sell top players; player trading is not our priority. We see Pio Esposito as a key gem for our future.
Anything can happen in the future, but I mean a very far future.”
Esposito, whose Inter contract runs until 2030, has scored seven goals and registered six assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season.
