Chelsea vs Aston Villa Confirmed Lineups for March 4
Chelsea Team News
Per SofaScore, Liam Rosenior has a selection dilemma on his hands. It lists eight potential absentees for him to handle. Mykahilo Mudryk is suspended long-term with Pedro Neto also suspended after getting a red card against Arsenal, the Portuguese international will miss just this clash and be back for the next league outing.
The back line is hit with injuries to Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella and the recently recalled Caleb Wiley. The midfield is also hit as Dario Essugo once again finds himself on the sidelines with Jamie Gittens and Estevao’s injuries leaving the manager short of options to fill the five spots in his 4-2-3-1.

Aston Villa Team News
Unai Emery is the only coach who could claim to be dealing with a worse injury situation than Rosenior. While the Villans have less problems overall, they have been decimated in one key part of the pitch. Youri Tielemans, John McGinn, and Boubacar Kamara are all out, dealing a big blow to their midfield solidity and energy, leaving them short of options for the pivot and the central attacking midfielder.
Andres Garcia and Harvey Elliot are also out for this one.
