Brighton vs Arsenal LIVE: Premier League latest score and confirmed lineups

Arsenal face a tricky test on the road when they take on Brighton in tonight’s Premier League action.

The Gunners are once again five points clear at the summit after their victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

They will be desperate to avoid any slip-ups tonight with Manchester City breathing down their necks with Pep Guardiola’s side up against Nottingham Forest at home in their match this evening.

Arsenal haven’t lost to Brighton since a calamtious 3-0 defeat at home back in May 2023, a devastating afternoon where they effectively handed the crown to City.

A setback of that nature would be nothing short of a disaster for Mikel Arteta and his side – but Arsenal appear to be made of sterner stuff this season.

Metro’s LIVE matchday blog will bring you all the build-up, confirmed team news and starting XIs, goal updates and minute-by-minute coverage.

Arsenal recovered from a somewhat worrying wobble – they dropped points at Brentford and Wolves – with derby wins over Tottenham and Chelsea.

Brighton, meanwhile, ended a run of three straight defeats with two successive wins over Brentford and Nottingham Forest.

So both teams will be feeling confident ahead of this evening’s clash on the south coast.
