Bears' DJ Moore linked to trades with Super Bowl contender and AFC West riser

The Chicago Bears have been involved in a lot of rumors and reports so far this offseason. Drew Dalman retired, the team might be on the move, and DJ Moore's name is constantly involved in trade rumors.

Those rumors around Moore aren't going to die down anytime soon. He's going to be involved in trade speculation, especially as the Bears look to reshuffle the roster this offseason.

According to CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones, the Bears' wide receiver has two teams that are linked to a possible trade. One is a Super Bowl contender, while the other is an ascending AFC West team that could use the standout receiver in their new offense.

Bears' DJ Moore linked to 2 teams in trade rumors

"The Patriots could be a landing spot for Moore if the Bears do a deal involving the receiver," Jones writes, "or he could be part of a hypothetical package that goes to a needy Las Vegas team in a deal for Crosby."

Moore is linked to two teams, the Las Vegas Raiders and the New England Patriots. Both could use the standout receiver, but the return for the Bears is much more interesting.

Based on this report from Jones, the return from the Patriots would be focused on draft capital. While the Bears could get a clean break from Moore in a deal with the Patriots for draft picks, it likely wouldn't be a very high one.

A first-rounder is out of the question, and a second-rounder might be a bit too rich for Moore as well. Most likely, it would be a third-round pick plus more coming back.

That's why a trade with the Raiders for Maxx Crosby, the superstar pass rusher who seemingly is available, would be ideal.

The Bears would need to add a first-round pick, and potentially more, to acquire Crosby using Moore. But, with how good Crosby is, and the need at pass rusher, such a trade makes sense for the Bears.

There's enough buzz around a Moore trade that this is something worth keeping a close eye on. There could be some big pieces on the move, as Moore might be on his way out this offseason in a trade.
