Brighton vs Arsenal confirmed team news from the Amex Stadium
Brighton have recalled £40m record signing Georginio to the starting XI to face title chasing Arsenal.
The out-of-sorts striker has been on the sidelines of late as Danny Welbeck has led the line and scored against the likes of Brentford and Nottingham Forest.
Welbeck - who netted his 10th goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest last Sunday - dropped to the bench for this one as Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler manages the 35-year-old’s workload.
This is a huge chance for Georginio, who has just two goals to his name so far this term. The Frenchman's last Premier League start for the Seagulls was the painful 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace back in February.
Carlos Baleba is back for Brighton
There was also a spot for Carlos Baleba as the Cameroon international returns to his midfield role, as James Milner - who has started the last two - drops to the bench.
Baleba is expected to partner the experienced Pascal Gross in the deeper midfield roles, with Jack Hinshelwood likely to continue on the No 10 position.
Elsewhere, skipper Lewis Dunk misses out on the match day squad due to a “thigh issue” with Frenchman Olivier Boscagli back in the team alongside Jan Paul van Hecke.
Mats Wieffer is at right back with the impressive Ferdi Kadioglu continuing at left back.
Kaoru Mitoma and Diego Gomez are on the flanks and will hope to supply the ammunition to Georginio.
