Aaron Rodgers makes candid comment about his wife.
Aaron Rodgers is still going all-in on workouts, diet, and sleep more than 20 years into his NFL career — and during a candid appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, he gave fans a glimpse into what keeps him motivated, referencing his famously private wife in a surprising remark.
Rodgers started talking to McAfee about his workout routine during the off season, which prompted the podcast host to ask if Rodgers would “always be like that.”
“I’m trying to stay fit. I mean, it’s harder when you get older,” the 42-year-old responded. He explained that, as he’s gotten older, it has become more of a challenge for him to stay in shape, so he tends to take less time off. Then, Rodgers got candid, giving a NSFW response.
“We’re not on ESPN — it wouldn’t f***ing matter — but I want to look good,” Rodgers said, adding, “I want my wife to want to f*** me all the time.”
Rodgers is married to a woman named Brittani.

Rodgers’ future in the NFL remains unclear as he hasn’t announced whether or not he plans to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers. As an unrestricted free agent, there may be a number of different options coming Rodgers’ way, and, of course, he could even choose to retire.
While he hasn’t made any firm decisions just yet, he did tell McAfee that he’s been enjoying his time off.
“Free agency starts in a week,” he said on the March 4 episode. “I’ve been spending a lot of time with my wife. We went on a ski trip. I’ve just been laying low. There’s a lot of other things going on,” he continued.
He went on to say that he hasn’t seen any contract offers and there’s nothing that is forcing him to make a decision right now.
“I’m enjoying my time with my wife,” he said.
Rodgers Secretly Got Married & Has Never Made a Public Appearance With His Wife
Rodgers hasn’t always been particularly private about his personal life, but that changed after he met his now-wife, who has never made a public appearance. In June 2025, the NFL quarterback revealed that he got married, but he kept the details largely under wraps, giving fans very little insight into his new life.
Rodgers has explained in interviews that keeping his relationship private allows him to protect the person he loves from the intense spotlight that comes with being an NFL star. It also gives him a sense of normalcy — a space where the media and fans don’t constantly scrutinize his wife.
“My private life is staying private. I’m with somebody who wants to be private,” he told Pat McAfee in June 2025.
Though he has decided to keep his personal life completely private, he has praised Brittani in a variety of interviews.
“When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second,” Rodgers said of Brittani, according to Sports Illustrated. “And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes…there’s no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife.”
