Hello and welcome to Villa Park for live coverage of Liam Rosenior's post-match press conference following Chelsea's 4-1 victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
Joao Pedro's hat-trick inspired the Blues to a crucial three points at Villa Park. It was the worst possible start for the visitors with Douglas Luiz flicking in beyond Filip Jorgensen with just two minutes on the clock.
However, Joao Pedro equalised from close range after being found by Malo Gusto's low cross not too long after. The Brazil international then bagged again just before the half-time whistle with a delicate chip over Emi Martinez.
Cole Palmer made it 3-1 to Chelsea in the second half before Joao Pedro wrapped up the scoring, and his first hat-trick for the club a bit later. **Bobby Vincent** is live in Aston to bring you word-for-word updates from Rosenior's presser.

> It wasn't my idea, it's come from the players and I really like it.

> For sure, you're going to have setbacks in your season. The maturity of the team, the quality we played with - it can be better, for sure, but the spirit was really pleasing tonight.

> He's grown in confidence. His finish with his left foot is magnificent but I'm really delighted with the two tap-ins he got because he was in the right place both times.

> It's a really good evening. So far I haven't heard any injury issues. We had to respond positively in the game. I don't understand how we didn't get a penalty on Reece. It's another setback, so for the players to perform the way they did makes me very happy.
