He will be re-evaluated for at least three weeks.

George sustained the elbow injury in the team's last Monday loss against the Houston Rockets. As such, it remains to be seen if he will still return with over a month left before the regular season ends.

As the Wizards are currently 16-45 on the season, it can be assumed already that the franchise will cautiously handle George's health.

The 22-year-old has taken a good leap in his second NBA season. In 48 games, he averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

Following the Trae Young and Anthony Davis deals, George is expected to play an important role in Washington's target run for contention next 2026-27 season.
