Kuminga is dealing with a left knee inflammation.
After being marked as questionable in his status, the Atlanta Hawks have ruled out Jonathan Kuminga ahead of their Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Atlanta Hawks / Schedule
Per the team's injury report, he is dealing with left knee inflammation.
As such, this is the same knee that sidelined him for several weeks following a bone bruise and hyperextension suffered in late January while he was still with the Golden State Warriors, and the one that pushed his Hawks debut after being acquired by the franchise in the past trade deadline.
Kuminga is enjoying his new chapter so far as a Hawk. In three games of play in Atlanta, he is averaging 21.3 points, 7.7 boards, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals. He is also shooting 67.7 percent from the field (55.6 percent from three).
It appears that Atlanta will let Kuminga take a break for now, and his status will be anticipated on Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
