Frustration boiled over for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. With 4:20 left and the team trailing the Atlanta Hawks by a wide margin, Giannis slammed the ball into the stanchion after Dyson Daniels’ offensive putback.

Antetokounmpo was immediately assessed a technical foul for the outburst. The Bucks went on to fall 131-113 at home on Wednesday, enduring another crushing defeat.

The Bucks dropped their fourth consecutive game, despite Antetokounmpo playing just his second contest since coming back from a long calf injury. Milwaukee fell to 26-35 and now trails the final Play-In spot in the Eastern Conference by five games.

Playing under a strict minutes restriction as he continues his comeback, Antetokounmpo put up 24 points, hitting 10-of-15 two-point shots and 4-of-8 free throws. In his 25 minutes of action, he also chipped in five rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

In the losing effort, Kyle Kuzma scored 16 points, Ousmane Dieng added 14, and both Ryan Rollins and Bobby Portis contributed 13 points each for Milwaukee. Rollins handed out nine assists in the first half and finished with 12, while Jericho Sims grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench.

Jalen Johnson led the Hawks with 20 points and nine assists, while all five starters finished in double figures.

The Bucks committed 15 turnovers, resulting in 26 points for the Hawks. Atlanta also converted 11 second-chance points from 11 offensive rebounds and had eight more shot attempts than Milwaukee.
