OPPOSING MANAGER - Eddie Howe
The Englishman took over at Bournemouth in 2009 after being forced to end his playing career early due to injury.
He went on to guide the Cherries to promotion from the fourth tier.
He then left for a brief spell at Burnley in 2011 before returning to the south coast in October 2012 and continuing where he left off, eventually leading them to the Premier League in 2015.
They stayed in the top-flight for five seasons before relegation saw the end of his second spell with the Cherries.
2021 saw his appointment at Newcastle and since then, he’s taken them into the Champions League and won the League Cup, their first major trophy since 1955.
DANGER MEN
Anthony Gordon is proving to be Newcastle’s biggest threat in recent games as he won them a penalty against Manchester United in their Premier League outing on Wednesday evening.
The winger is fighting to claim a spot in the England squad for this summer’s World Cup and also scored away to Liverpool, as well as assisting the winner against Tottenham Hotspur.
Lewis Hall will be one to watch after he provided the equaliser for the Magpies in our previous head-to-head from 20 yards out.
Malick Thiaw is a massive threat from set-pieces, already claiming four league goals this season, so we’ll need to keep a close eye on him too.

We deservedly took the lead after 14 minutes when O’Reilly fired a left-footed strike past Nick Pope after fine work from Omar Marmoush.
Newcastle equalised when Lewis Hall’s effort from 20 yards out deflected off Rayan Ait-Nouri and flew past Donnarumma.
But we soon had our noses in front once again when O’Reilly bagged his second – this time expertly heading home from Erling Haaland’s beautiful cross into the box.

Antoine Semenyo volleyed us ahead in the first half before Morgan Gibbs-White’s backheel pulled the visitors level after the break.
Rodri headed us back in front only for Elliot Anderson to snatch a second equaliser for the relegation battlers.
City kept pushing for a winner and Savinho had a shot cleared off the line with the very last kick of the game.
