Liam Rosenior‘s team went behind early on to a Douglas Luiz goal, but the visitors rallied before halftime, with an excellent team move leading to Pedro’s first goal of the night.
The Blues could have found themselves 2-1 down if Ollie Watkins’ goal had not been ruled out for offside, but they went into the break with a lead after Pedro scored his second six minutes into added time during the first half.
