Reece James was delighted for Joao Pedro after the striker netted a hat-trick in Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Pedro completed his hat-trick with a simple tap-in after the hour mark, the Blues’ fourth and final goal of the game.
While it was the simplest of opportunities that the 24-year-old put away, his captain still made sure he celebrated the moment properly.

Reece James behind Joao Pedro’s Samba celebration
Pedro celebrated his third goal against Villa with a Samba dance, and the Brazilian has revealed that it was James that got him to do it.
In a post-match interview, which has been shared by Chelsea’s official club website, Pedro said: “I did a bit of Samba in front of the fans! Reece told me to because today was a special day!”
Chelsea fans will be hoping that Pedro has more reasons to whip out the Samba in the coming weeks, as Liam Rosenior’s men have some very important fixtures.

For example, they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their last 16 Champions League tie next week. It is a daunting task on paper, but Chelsea have already beaten PSG before, so that should give them some confidence.
Before the Premier League concludes, they still have Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool to play.
Chelsea face City and United at home, though, and with the form that Pedro is in, it is not impossible for them to get perhaps a win and a draw from those two fixtures. James is also at the top of his game at the moment.

James was sensational against Arsenal last weekend, though his performance was not enough to prevent Chelsea from losing. They were at least able to bounce back with the win over Villa, something that Rosenior will be delighted with.
Going into the game, after making a series of mistakes against Arsenal, Burnley and Leeds United, Rosenior warned his players time is running out.
