The Wizards traded for four-time NBA All-Star Trae Young (via the Atlanta Hawks) last month.
However, the Oklahoma legend has yet to appear in a game.
On Thursday, Young will make his debut for the franchise.
The Wizards wrote on Wednesday (with pictures of Young): “See y’all tomorrow.”
Young is currently averaging 19.3 points, 1.5 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field and 30.5% from three-point range in ten games (for the Hawks).
He was the fifth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball.
Prior to the trade, Young had spent his entire eight-year career in the NBA with Atlanta.
Greg Finberg of Bullets Forever wrote: “Trae Young is officially off the injury report and available to make his Wizards debut on Thursday vs. Utah. Young hasn’t played since Dec. 27 due to an MCL sprain and a quad contusion.”
