**There will likely be another summer of heavy investment from Liverpool, but Alisson Becker will not leave the club despite rumours.**
A report from [La Gazzetta Dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Juventus/24-02-2026/juve-vicario-e-alisson-per-il-dopo-di-gregorio.shtml) suggested that Alisson, AC Milan’s Mike Maignan and Spurs’ goalkeeper Vicario are the top goalkeepers on Juventus’ shortlist of targets.
33-year-old Alisson is by no means at the end of his career, and so for Liverpool to keep him for another year would be most welcome.
While things appear to be falling apart around him, Alisson is one of the few players this season that can be proud of his performances.
Liverpool will not sell Alisson this summer
-------------------------------------------
Speaking on his YouTube channel for Italian users, translated to English, Fabrizio Romano claims that Alisson will remain at Liverpool for another year at least.
Romano said: _“There’s a lot of talk about both Juventus and Inter, so in recent hours the name \[Alisson\] has been circulating with both clubs, who are evidently looking for a goalkeeper for next summer._
_“So, I can tell you that at the moment, what we know about Alisson is that he intends to stay at Liverpool for another year. He still has one year left on his contract and Alisson would like to complete it there, so Alisson doesn’t want to leave at the moment._
_“Should Liverpool decide to put him on the market, well we’ll see about that.”_
With just three months left in the 2025-26 season, Liverpool will need Alisson at his best to have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
After a 2-1 defeat to Wolves, Liverpool have once again wasted the chance to gain ground in the Premier League. Manchester United and Aston Villa dropped points, but a defeat of their own means Liverpool will be even more frustrated at the lost opportunity.
