England’s #1 club v England’s #60 club on Saturday in the FA Cup

The Gunners did just enough to beat Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday, however, this type of victory can be very unnerving for supporters.

Yes, it’s great to come away with the three points, however, it will also be great to see the lads put in a better performance on the offensive end. With all due respect to Eberechi Eze, he is not the magic man Martin Odegaard has become. The captain needs to get fit and get back on the pitch ASAP to help ignite some goal production during the final months of the season.

Of course, we would all be happy with 1-0 results through the rest of the season, but I’m afraid there probably would be some heart issues along the way among supports. Scoring more goals would help that malady a lot.

Next stop is Field Mill Stadium in Mansfield. The Gunners will face this League One club on Wednesday in the FA Cup’s 5th Round. Mansfield Town is currently 16th on their league table after 33 matches played.

This match can not be taken lightly, so Mikel Arteta and his troops need another good team performance in order to move on in this competition.

With that said, here’s my projected starting XI for Arsenal on Wednesday…

[4-3-3]

Dowman, Jesus, Madueke

Norgaard, Havertz, Lewis-Skelly

Califiori, Mosquera, Hincapie, Timber

Kepa

Predicted final score: Mansfield Town 0 – ARSENAL 4
