On a potentially pivotal night at the summit, Arsenal beat Brighton 1-0 thanks to Bukayo Saka’s goal inside the opening ten minutes, while Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Nottingham Forest.

Man City do, however, have a game in hand over Arsenal and still have to play Mikel Arteta’s side at the Etihad Stadium in what is being billed as a title decider on April 19.

Terry, though, believes City dropping points against Forest surely signals the end of their hope to be crowned champions of England this season.

"There were some big performances and some upsets in the Premier League last night," Terry said on TikTok.

"Manchester City dropping points again, surely that’s the end of it for them after Arsenal beat Brighton as well.

"I didn’t see that one coming if I’m honest."
