In a clip making rounds on social media, President Trump’s granddaughter had a smile on while fiddling with her necklace and talking with the NFL player. Kelce, 36, who’s a stickler for celebrity gol events, had his back to the camera throughout the conversation at Palm Beach State College’s SoFi Center.
The 18-year-old wore a white, long-sleeved top while Kelce spotted a green button-up shirt on a white baseball cap. Since the footage went public, some netizens are taking the ocassion to recant the political dissension between Kelce’s fiancée and President Trump.
On multiple occasions, Trump has publicly dissed Taylor Swift, eventually declaring in May 2025 that he “hates” the singer. On Swift’s part, besides publicly rooting for Kamala Harris in the November 2024 elections, the Grammy winner and he partner have yet to react publicly at Trump’s take.
Kai made her LPGA debut in November 2025. She finished the tournament in last place, and later admitted to being “really nervous” while on the course. Reports claim she’s heading to University of Miami in the fall.

For many fans, Kelce’s freedom to speak with Kai, despite President Trump’s history with Swift, depict kindness and maturity. A social media post captioning the video wrote:
