Everton are showing an interest in Juventus and Canada international Jonathan David ahead of the summer transfer window.
Everton have spoken to Jonathan David’s representatives, and it’s understood that Juve are open to sanctioning his sale if they can sign a suitable replacement.
He’s only scored 7 goals for Juventus this season… thoughts? 😬

David has endured a tough season in Turin, as he’s only netted seven times, but clearly that’s not put David Moyes off.
There’s an obvious reason for that.

David Moyes has wanted Jonathan David since his West Ham days
Moyes has been tracking David for over half a decade, and he was in talks to sign him in 2021, according to talkSPORT.
The then-West Ham United manager was rivalling Arsenal for his signature, but ultimately nothing materialised.
Then, in 2023, whilst Moyes was still Hammers boss, they reignited their interest in David, who was valued at around £34m.
So, quite clearly, the Scotsman is more than likely the one leading Everton’s interest in the 26-year-old ahead of the summer.

The Juve frontman may favour a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium over other suitors, knowing the manager has been a big admirer for years.
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Leeds United are among the other clubs credited with an interest.
Evidently, it won’t be an easy deal to complete for the Merseysiders, with stiff Premier League competition.
Perhaps it’ll be third time lucky for Moyes in his bid to sign David.
Everton certainly need to sign an upgrade on Thierno Barry and Beto, as they’ve scored a combined 11 Premier League goals this season.
Moyes recently admitted he’s been disappointed with his Everton strikers.
