NBA 2K26 Ratings Update: March 5, 2026

The first ratings update in NBA 2K26 after the All-Star Break is here, and we're seeing the results of some of the players going above and beyond as we approach the playoffs.

First up in this latest Ratings Update is the Detroit Pistons' Jalen Duren, who has been on fire lately, doing his part in keeping the Pistons #1 in the Eastern Conference. Duren rises to 88 OVR for averaging 25.5 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block per game over the past two weeks. He's stayed a leader in both points and rebounds for the Center position all year round, so this distinction is well-earned.

Following up Duren is Charlotte Hornets' Kon Knueppel. The star rookie is now leading in Rookie of the Year voting, and for no small reason. Knueppel catches up with rival Cooper Flagg at 87 OVR thanks to his consistency in being part of the Hornets' rotation and for scoring 21.1 points per game with 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals to cap off the stat sheet. Despite losing the 3-Point Contest this year, Knueppel leads the league with 212 three-pointers made this season, breaking Keegan Murray's rookie record for most threes made.

And finally, we have Jonathan Kuminga, who jumps to 80 OVR, 3 points higher than his previous OVR rating. He's been on fire in his first few games in Atlanta, showing that the Golden State Warriors definitely could have used him instead of trading him and Buddy Hield to the Hawks. Similar to Kuminga is the Los Angeles Clippers' Bennedict Mathurin, now at 82 OVR, ever since leaving Indiana for the City of Angels.
