The Maxx Crosby trade saga continues. Reports suggest he wants out of the Las Vegas Raiders, but the team won’t lower its asking price for the five-time Pro Bowler.
In recent weeks, Crosby was mentioned in trade rumors with multiple teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and even the San Francisco 49ers. After being close to a trade Wednesday night, Crosby’s potential paths expanded.

NFL reporter Albert Breer noted on Thursday that one team cleared plenty of cap space this week, which would put them in a solid position to pursue Crosby.
“Meanwhile, the Bears have cleared a bunch of cap room this week, with Drew Dalman retiring and DJ Moore traded. We’d mentioned earlier that they’ve shown some interest in Tyler Linderbaum and Maxx Crosby. Stay tuned,” Breer tweeted.

NFL insider Trey Wingo reported on Thursday the Dallas Cowboys nearly completed a deal for Maxx Crosby. It didn’t happen because other teams stepped in and ruined the Lone Star’s plans. Now, the Cowboys gave up on a Crosby trade.
“Things are moving fast re Maxx Crosby. Last night Dallas thought they were close to a deal but since then other teams have raised the ante and potentially are offering the Raiders 2 1st round picks Expected Dallas to now shift their focus to Trey Hendrickson,” Wingo wrote.

The Bears could make a splash and improve their defense with Crosby. Time will tell if they decide to pay the Raiders’ high asking price.
