But one very harsh response summed up the mood among Chelsea fans, who had no sympathy for their rivals.
“LOL, they’re all bums. Let them all play Championship football.”
The jokes are even funnier because Tottenham haven’t won a single domestic game in 2026 and have only won two league games since November. Chelsea are in fifth place with 48 points and will host Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on May 17. This game could be very important for Spurs’ chances of staying in the league.
