Per Kidd, Flagg will play 20-25 minutes in his return against the Magic after his eight-game absence.
After a long absence, it was officially confirmed that Cooper Flagg will return to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
Dallas Mavericks / Schedule
The reigning No. 1 overall pick of the past NBA Draft hasn't played a game since Feb. 10 as he nursed a left midfoot sprain. He is now made active ahead of the Mavs' upcoming road clash against the Orlando Magic.
Speaking to reporters, head coach Jason Kidd shared his exposure plan for the Dallas sensation, in which Flagg is slated to play around 20 to 25 minutes in Orlando.
Considering that Flagg has missed the last eight games for Dallas, Kidd and the Mavericks are seriously considering a cautious approach in managing his workload.
The Mavs will have another game coming up in Boston against the Celtics on Friday, and Flagg's homecoming status will be anticipated.
In 49 games thus far this season, Flagg is averaging 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists.
