Stephen Curry changed the game and is the greatest shooter in the history of basketball, but he won't mind seeing his NBA all-time three-point record being broken in the near future.

Golden State Warriors / Schedule

As Curry sits atop the leaderboard with 4,233 three-pointers and counting, the Golden State Warriors superstar is even supportive of the idea that, at some point, another player will catch him up.

“I don’t think it’s ever unbreakable,” Curry told Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard. “But just the loftiness of what it would take to catch and surpass, knowing I’m still hopefully going to add more to the total before it’s all said and done. It’s kind of cool to have something to pay attention to over the next decade. Everything has to go right health-wise, shooting the ball consistently. … Volume is king now. So it’s probably going to be a talking point for a while.”

Particularly, Curry identifies Anthony Edwards and Kon Knueppel as two primary candidates who can surpass his staggering triples made.

The Minnesota Timberwolves superstar is the first player in league history to reach 1,200 three-pointers before turning 25, shooting a career-best 40.2 percent rate this season.

Meanwhile, Knueppel is demonstrating a historic shooting season as a rookie. He recently broke Keegan Murray's record for most threes made by a rookie in a single season, while being the fastest to reach 200 career triples.

“Not at all,” Curry told Emerman if it would be bittersweet for him if someone would eventually pass his record.

“Same way Ray [Allen] had his moment when I was watching him beat Reggie [Miller], it’s a passing-of-a-baton type thing. You do things that inspire other people, inspire a way to play, and see where they take it. Context always matters in how the story’s told and all that, so I’m not worried about that. It’d be kind of cool to see somebody be around that long and shoot that consistently throughout their career to do it.”
