Michael Olise Makes Decision On‘Next Destination’As Man City, Liverpool And PSG All Circle–Report

Man City face disappointment in their pursuit of Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, according to reports.

TEAMtalk claim that Pep Guardiola’s side, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have all registered their interest in the France international.

However, it seems that Olise is not keen on leaving Bayern for any of these three teams as things stand.

While the former Crystal Palace player is expected to return to the Premier League in the future, he sees Spain as his “next destination”.

That will alert the likes of both Real Madrid and Barcelona, although Olise is not in a rush to move on from Bayern.

Why are Man City interested in Olise?

The club have been linked with the 24-year-old on and off over the last few years. There was some interest in the player in the summer of 2023, and again before he moved to Bayern a year later.

While the Cityzens, Chelsea and Newcastle did try to sign Olise, Bayern ultimately won the race for the forward. He has gone on to score 33 goals and provide 48 assists in 91 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.

City have other priorities in the transfer market

Having signed Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth in January, there is certainly not a dearth of options out wide in the first-team squad.

Director of Football Hugo Viana is expected to focus his summer recruitment on two other positions. Midfield seems to be the top priority, especially if Bernardo Silva and Rodri leave the Etihad. Elliot Anderson appears to be the top target to strengthen that area of the pitch.

Right-back is set to be the other focus. Newcastle’s Tino Livramento has been on the club’s radar for the last twelve months, so it would not be a surprise if a bid is lodged for the England international.
